Paulina, originally from Poland, moved to the United Kingdom in 2003 where she worked and studied in London and the home counties. In 2011 she started working as a trainee dental nurse and the following year completed her training and received a National Diploma in Dental Nursing, awarded by the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses, UK.
Whilst Paulina enjoyed her time working in a busy mix NHS and private dental clinic she was keen to continue to develop her career in dentistry and in 2013 with the support of her husband, she successfully enrolled for the Dental Hygiene course at the University of Malta. She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Dental Hygiene. Since then she has been working as a Dental Hygienist in private dental clinic where her role within the dental team is to deliver preventative advice as well as routine and advanced periodontal (gum) treatment to both adults and children.
Paulina’s personal aim as a dental hygienist is to improve the knowledge and oral health of her patients. She enjoys working as part of the wider dental team and medical professionals to meet the oral health needs of the patients.
In her free time Paulina enjoys long walks with her dog, running and spending time with her family. She is also keen to keep up-to-date with developments within her field as well as other areas of dentistry and medicine and regularly attends professional meetings and conferences.
